Sam is a Senior at the University of Michigan double-majoring in French Horn Performance and Music Education. He spends his weekends teaching Elementary General Music and Beginning Band classes with the Ypsilanti Youth Orchestra, as well as serving as an Ensemble Manager for the Michigan Youth Symphony Band. In addition to performing with the Adrian Symphony Orchestra, Sam has found a love for the orchestra pit, spending a summer with the Ohio Light Opera and performing a total of seven musicals and operettas, including Into the Woods and South Pacific. Sam is a huge proponent for learning any and all forms of improvisation and composition through french horn and he hopes to dedicate himself to diversifying the repertoire canon.

Fun Facts: Sam loves climbing trees, spending his free time binging comedies with his roommates, and his favorite movie (and soundtrack for that matter) is How to Train Your Dragon.
