Oluwaseun Idowu
Oluwaseun is an indigene of Ogun state and he was born in Lagos, Nigeria. His passion for music started since he identified the greatness in Euphonium in 2016 at Celestial Church of Christ Atunbi Cathedral, where he got his first lesson in music theory, and also proceeded to take his first exam, Grade 5 practical exam (ABRSM) which he passed with a Distinction in 2017. He applied and gained admission into the MUSON (The Musical Society of Nigeria) Diploma School of Music under the MTN Foundation Scholarship in 2018, where he studied Euphonium performance. The scholarship polished his skills and added other musical values to his personality and goals in life. Oluwaseun has interest in Classical music, Jazz and Contemporary Music. He has performed with the MUSON Diploma Band and Orchestra, Celestial Symphony Orchestral, Mountain Top Orchestra, MUSON Chamber Orchestra, Silver Line Band, The Nigerian Boy's Brigade, Eko Brass Band and The Trinity Ensemble. He looks forward to becoming a great Euphonium soloist and an instructor and also to use music as a driving force to make a positive change in the society.
