Ngozi Aroh
Ngozi is a junior at the University of Michigan studying Industrial and Operations Engineering. She moved to the United States from Nigeria in 2013. She serves as the Secretary for Àkójọpọ̀. As secretary, Ngozi is responsible for managing all the organization's internal communications and preparing or keeping track of board meeting dates, meeting agendas and minutes from the meeting. She is responsible for reviewing and signing. all contracts. As secretary, she is the only board member that can serve in the absence of the president. She also assists the virtual mentorship project team with any logistics when needed. Ngozi is very excited to be a part of Àkójọpọ̀ because she is passionate about reaching back and helping Nigerians in whatever way possible. In Ngozi’s free time, she enjoys listening to music, cooking fried rice, and relaxing.
Fun facts: I played the flute for a year, I love listening to Afrobeats, and my favorite cartoon is Total Drama Action.
