Helen LaGrand
My name is Helen LaGrand and I am a cellist. I am from Grand Rapids, MI-- where I was in Youth Orchestra with Daniel-- and I attended the University of Michigan for my undergrad. I am currently in Glasgow, Scotland where I am working towards my Masters in Cello Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This past summer I was in Cohort C teaching cello lessons, and it was an amazing experience. The opportunity to work with a cellist from across the world and to see more of Àkójọpọ̀ made an impact on me, so I decided to apply to join the team. I'm excited to see how I can do my part to help Àkójọpọ̀ grow.
