Handel Olawale Olayinka
Olayinka Olawale Samuel (AKA Olawale Handel) began his musical journey at his church Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. He started the violin in 2012 during his first year at the University of Lagos while studying insurance, he found Insurance & Law so much fun and interesting, however found more fulfillment in practicing and teaching music as well as worshipping. He is currently a member of the Divine Symphony Orchestra which is the main church orchestra.
He has taken several graded examination through the Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) on the Theory of Music and Practical Music (Violin and Voice).
He is a certified violin teacher on the Suzuki violin teaching method at the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON). In pursuit to share his passion for music with others, he has been teaching the theory of music and also practical music for the past seven years in several countries of the world such as the Ivory Coast, Uganda, South Africa, Scotland, England, and amongst many states in Nigeria including Lagos to hundreds of students.
Olawale is a member of the Tunde Jegede MUSON ensemble orchestra playing the violin and has also made an international tour to the Stellenbosch International Chamber Music Festival in 2016.
Fun Fact: I love arranging songs on my Sibelius software, cooking, and photography. I am also a diehard Bach fan!
